Gionee S10 Lite launched in India at Rs 15,999

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee today announced that its new smartphone S10 Lite will be available across all retail stores in India at a price of Rs 15,999, starting from December 23. The device comes with a WhatsApp clone feature that enables users to create not two but three WhatsApp accounts.

With S10 Lite, Gionee is targeting users’ that want long lasting battery and are selfie-focused. The smartphone comes with 16MP selfie camera, 3,100mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 1.4GHz processor paired up with 4GB of RAM. The device runs on company’s proprietary Amigo 4.0 skin on top of Android 7.1, and offers 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via micro-SD card.

By strengthening our S Series we aim to not only further enhance the brand’s connection with young consumers but also keep up with the growing demand for high quality smartphones with superior photography capabilities,” said David Chang, Global Sales Director, Gionee India.

Gionee has also partnered with PayTm and will offer 50 cash back on a base buy of Rs 350 from PayTM Mall on the purchase of S10 Lite. Also, new or existing Jio Customers who purchase S10 Lite will get 5 GB data each month for a period of 10 months on any data recharge of Rs 309 and above.
