US-based company InFocus today launched a new smartphone Turbo 5 that comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery.

Turbo 5 will be available in two variants --  2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage, priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999, respectively. The smartphone will be available for sale exclusively on Amazon.in starting July 4.

“Going ahead, we will continue to expand our product portfolio and introduce innovative and disruptive 4G smartphones for the Indian consumers. For this FY InFocus plans to introduce 16 new products, aiming to reach six million volume by the end of the year,” said Luo Zhongsheng, Global CEO for Sharp and  InFocus.

Turbo 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS 2.5D glass display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and comes with a fingerprint sensor. The sensor has the capacity to register five fingerprints and unlocks the device in 0.5 seconds.

For smooth multi-tasking, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.0 operating system. Turbo 5 sports a 13MP rear camera with auto-focus and a 5MP selfie camera with 2.2 aperture.  

In the next one year’s time the company is set to launch an array of innovative and disruptive products in both online and offline channels. InFocus has ramped up their service network across India with 326 after sales service touch points.

Aiming to strengthen their backend processes and to deliver a great after sale service experience to consumers, the company plans to create 500 service centres touch points by end of this year.
