After bringing back a dose of nostalgia with Nokia 3310 which was welcomed by Indian customers with open warms, it is now time for Nokia 6 that has witnessed enormous interest from its fans and has received over one million registrations on

The registrations for the Nokia 6 opened on July 14, and the subscription growth is expected to intensify closer to the date of sale which is August 23. The smartphone will be available in matte black and silver on for Rs 14,999.

The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full-HD screen and packs smart audio amplifier with dual speakers along with Dolby Atmos. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and Adreno 505 graphics processor.

There is a 16MP phase detection auto-focus camera on the back, and an 8 MP camera on the front. The device also ships with dual-tone flash on the main camera.

The Nokia 6 comes pre-installed with the Amazon shopping app, Kindle app and a unique daily deals widget which gives users easy access to personalised deals, order history, shipment updates and more. Amazon Prime members can also access tens of thousands of movies and TV shows through the pre-installed Amazon Prime Video app.

Last month, HMD Global, the new home of Nokia phones, and ZEISS signed an exclusive partnership that aims to bring back ZEISS’s imaging standards to Nokia smartphones. The partnership will see ZEISS and HMD Global co-develop standard-defining imaging capabilities.

The past collaboration saw ZEISS and Nokia phones driving technology innovations such as the world’s first multi-megapixel mobile phone and many more standard-setting devices, from the Nokia N series to those featuring Nokia PureView technologies.
