After updating the Macbook Air earlier this year, Apple has now updated the 13-inch Macbook Pro with the Magic Keyboard. Therefore, this marks the end of the much-criticized butterfly keyboard mechanism from Apple. The company has not yet revealed any details regarding the deliveries of the new Macbook Pro, although you can expect it to be available on e-commerce websites in the upcoming weeks.

Apart from the Magic Keyboard, there are several other changes with the new 13-inch Macbook Pro. It now features the latest 10th-generation Intel processors, although it is reserved for the higher-spec models. You'll get a quad-core 10th-gen Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 2GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz, along with16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 512GB SSD of base storage. The base-spec variants, on the other hand, will still use the older 8th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU with a base clock speed of 1.4GHz and boost speed of 3.9GHz, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and a 256GB SSD storage.

As with the last Macbook Pro, it still features a 13.3-inch LED-backlit IPS display with support for P3 wide colour gamut and true-tone. It has a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Where the base-spec versions of the 13-inch Macbook Pro feature 2 USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, the higher-spec variants feature 4 USB-C/Thunderbolt ports (plus a standard 3.5mm headphone jack). Apple's touch bar is standard across the range.

As for the price, the 13-inch MacBook Pro now starts at ₹1,22,990 for the base 256GB storage model, while the 512GB storage option is available at ₹1,42,990. The 10th-generation Intel Core processor-powered models with 16GB of RAM and 512GB and 1TB internal storage will set you back by ₹1,74,900 and ₹1,94,990, respectively.
