Taiwanese tech giant ASUS has today launched new VivoBook laptops -- X403, X409, and X509 in India. All the three models come with a fingerprint sensor and are equipped with PCIe SSD, which is faster in performance than the traditional SATA SSD.

ASUS VivoBook 14 (X403)

The VivoBook X403 is powered by 72Wh 4-cell lithium-polymer batter and meets the military standard MIL-STD-810G for durability and reliability. The laptop weighs only 1.3kg and has a 16.5mm-thin profile. The X403 comes with a 14-inch full-HD display and offers an 87 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The laptop is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565 quad-core processor, and features plenty of ports, including USB 3.1 Type-A, USB Type-C (USB-C), HDMI output, an audio combo jack for headphones and microphones, and a SD card reader.

ASUS VivoBook X509

The ASUS VivoBook X509 comes with an 8th generation Intel Core U-series processor coupled with NVIDIA MX230 discrete graphics. There is a 15.6-inch full-HD display, a fingerprint sensor, a PCIe SSD.

ASUS VivoBook X409

Weighing only 1.6kgs, the VivoBook X409 is another portable offering under the VivoBook series. The laptop comes in transparent silver and slate grey colours. Furthermore, the 14-inch X409 offers a full-HD 1920x1080 resolution. The display is anti-glare and supports 200nits of brightness. The VivoBook X409 is powered by the Intel Core i5-8265U Processor 1.6 GHz (6M Cache, up to 3.9 GHz). It also supports Intel UHD Graphics 620, to support everyday work and productivity.

For connectivity, the VivoBook X409 supports 2x USB 2.0 ports, one USB3.1 Type A (Gen1) and another USB3.1 Type C (Gen 1) port. There is also a jack for headphones and another port for connecting HDMI. Wireless connectivity is supported by Wi-Fi 5(802.11ac) + Bluetooth 4.2 (Dual band) 2*2.

The ASUS VivoBook 14 X403 is priced at Rs 54,990, the ASUS VivoBook 14 X409 costs Rs 32,990 and the ASUS VivoBook 15 X509 is priced from Rs 30,990. All the three devices are available on Amazon and on offline channels.
