TCL has announced a warranty extension on its range of smart TVs and air-conditioners to May 31 from the original warranty that expired between March 20 and April 30. This decision was taken owing to the extension in the nationwide lockdown till May 3. 

‘Our endeavor is to extend support to our consumers amid the lockdown situation. In the current situation, we have decided to extend warranty for our televisions and air-conditioners till 31st May 2020. This move will help to strengthen our association with consumers,’ Mike Chen, Managing Director, TCL India, said in a statement.

Recently, TCL launched the C8 series of televisions in India. The C8 Series is powered by AI-powered speech recognition far-field technology that offers hands-free and voice-based controls. The TCL C8 series also flaunts WCG and Dolby Vision for an enhanced TV viewing experience. In the audio department, it comes with Onkyo audio and Dolby Atmos technology. 

The TVs run Android Pie (9.0) system with a built-in Google assistant. The TVs are available in two variants of a 55-inch screen (55 C8 RT51) and a 65-inch screen (65 C8 RT51) and are available at a starting price of Rs 49,990.
