HP has launched the Elite Dragonfly, an ultralight premium PC in India. The HP Elite Dragonfly offers a battery life of up to 24.5-hours and comes with the latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. It is also the world’s first business convertible with a 4x4 LTE antenna comes with pre-installed personal wellbeing software, HP WorkWell.

The ultralight PC weighs under one-kilogram and is manufactured from CNC-machined magnesium for durability. The PC comes with a redesigned, backlit keyboard and glass touchpad for a premium feel and a smooth working experience.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is the world’s first notebook with ocean bound plastics and is verified to the target specification and key experiences of Intel’s ‘Project Athena’ innovation programme. The PC is powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core vPro processor. According to HP, the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 offers up to three times faster file transfer speeds than Wi-Fi 5 for higher performance. There is also a HP Sure Sense that defends the Elite Dragonfly against malware attacks on mobile workers using the power of artificial intelligence

In addition to the HP Elite Dragonfly, the company also announced a new curved monitor – the HP E344c. The curved monitor offers an immersive, ultra-thin 34-inch diagonal curved display and features three-way ergonomics with tilt, swivel, and height adjustment up to 150mm.

The HP E344c curved monitor features WQHD resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio.  

Pricing and availability

The HP Elite Dragonfly is expected to be available from December 1 at a starting price of Rs 1,49,990 and the HP E344c curved monitor is available at a starting price of Rs 67,000.
