Motorola's Moto G100 is yet another addition from the maker in the value-for-money G line-up. It is, however, a global rebadged version of the Motorola Edge S, which made its debut earlier this year in China.

The Moto G100 gets a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, which is further paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage. It further features a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2520 x 1080-pixel resolution.

It gets two punch-hole cutouts on the top left corner of the display, housing a 16MP main unit and an 8MP ultrawide module. Moreover, at the rear is a quad-camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 3D TOF sensor.

The phone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with a near-stock UI, and it features a sizeable 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. It also gets a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner, which also doubles up as a power button.

The Moto G100 price starts at €499.99 (~Rs. 42,850) in European markets. However, the Edge S in China retails for CNY 1,999 (~Rs. 22,500). The Indian variant will be priced in accordance with the European model. Both prices are for the sole 8GB+256B variant. The phone is available in three colours – iridescent sky, iridescent ocean, and slate grey – starting today in European and select Latin American markets.
