After numerous renderings and rumours of the Nokia X or Nokia X6, new photos of the new smartphone have surfaced on the Chinese social network, Baidu, ahead of its global launch on May 16. Even though Apple has been criticised for introducing the notch, many have followed suit and Nokia has confirmed that the X6 too will sport it, and so will the much-awaited OnePlus 6. Speaking of the OnePlus 6, both OnePlus and Nokia will launch their respective smartphones on the same day, May 16.

Coming back to the X6, it will feature 19:9 aspect ratio 5.8-inch display with full HD+ resolution. As mentioned earlier, the display will sport a notch, which will feature the selfie camera, earpiece and the proximity sensor. The new Nokia smartphone will be available in two trims. The entry-level version will be powered by the MediaTek P60 processor, while the top-end version will run on Snapdragon 636 processor. MediaTek trim has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the Qualcomm trim has 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Both are dual-SIM phones. The second SIM slot can also house a microSD card expanding the memory up to 256GB.

The Nokia X6 comes with vertically lined dual rear cameras with LED flash and a circular fingerprint scanner below. It sports a metal and glass design and comes with both a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. Both the Nokia X6 variants will come with a 3500mAh battery and will be available in two colours – black and white.
