The company also said that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices will receive the beta version of its "Face Unlock feature".

In line with the launch of previous OnePlus 5, CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that OnePlus 6 will be introduced in second quarter of this year, preferably in June. The smartphone will come with latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The company also said that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices will receive the beta version of its "Face Unlock feature". Co-founder Carl Pei added, "we no longer want to withhold features that can be seamlessly implemented".

The company recently introduced OnePlus 5T in lava red, midnight black and Star Wars edition, priced at Rs 37,999.

There is nothing new on the specifications front. For Lava Red, the company has used two anodic oxidation processes, double blasting and AF coating to maintain the texture. The device is also home to a redesigned wallpaper custom designed by OnePlus.

OnePlus 5T comes with 18:9 aspect ratio and runs on OxygenOS. The fingerprint sensor has now been moved to the back, and the front camera supports facial recognition. The company said that the face recognition technology maps 100 points in the users' faces to unlock the device.

Speaking of aesthetics, the OnePlus 5T features a bezel-less, ergonomic design, and as said earlier by Pei, it retains 3.5 mm jack.

OnePlus 5T has also received upgrades in the camera department and now comes with 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras with f/1.7 aperture. The camera features improved portrait mode, low-light photography and video stabilisation as compared to its predecessor.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor and houses 3,300mAh battery with Dash Charge
