Having launched the Bullets Wireless Z earphones earlier this year, OnePlus has finally launched its first-ever truly wireless earbuds in the Indian market. Touted as the OnePlus Buds, these truly wireless earbuds are a welcome departure from the company's old tried-and-tested neckband-style earphones.

Starting with the design, the earbuds feature a half-in-ear design. The circular pattern on the earbuds may remind you of the Bullets Wireless 2 earphones from OnePlus, but the opening and chrome ring of the earbuds give them an AirPods feel. The charging case, on the other hand, is slightly rounded and features an LED indicator at the front.

The OnePlus Buds feature a 13.4mm dynamic driver, along with Dolby Atmos, Bass Boost, and Dirac Audio Tuner support. According to OnePlus, this should allow of ‘cleaner vocals, deeper bass, and richer tones'. Moreover, each earbud also packs three microphones, which will help reduce outside noise during calls. The truly wireless earbuds also support Fnatic mode, which reduces latency to 103ms to improve real-time audio sync.

The OnePlus Buds feature customisable touch controls, allowing the users to play/pause music with a single tap on the earbud and summon the Google Assistant (Android only) with a long-press. The Earbuds comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and a 35mAh battery. As per the company, each earbud can last up to 7 hours on a single charge. The charging case, which can be juiced up with Warp Charge via USB-C, has a 430mAh battery, which can extend the battery life of the earbuds to up to 30 hours.

The OnePlus Buds are priced in India at ₹4,990. Like the OnePlus Nord, the Buds, too, will be available starting August 4 as an Amazon exclusive. The truly wireless earbuds will be available in three colours: white, grey, and nord blue.
