OnePlus has created an identity in the Rs 35,000-Rs 45,000 smartphone segment, and is growing as a brand. Last year, the company forayed into the above Rs 50,000 segment with the launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro & OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones, and also launched two TVs. Media reports now claim that the company is now preparing to launch a new logo for 2020. According to GizChina, the new logo may go official on March 18.

The logo has been leaked through a Chinese patent office. There are three variations of logos available, including one with just the ‘1+’ icon. There’s a new font of the logo’s text. While the ico remains the same, the text is quite different. The font is thicker than the previous one. It is presumed that the new logo will launch with the OnePlus 8 series and will be on the products that will be launched in 2020. OnePlus hasn't said anything in this regard.

Apart from the new logo, we are likely to see a new tagline. OnePlus has been using taglines since the brand’s inception. These are:

OPO - Flagship Killer 2014
OPX - Exquisite design
OP2 - Flagship Killer 2016
OP3 /3T - A day's power in half an hour
OP5 - Dual Camera. Clearer Photos
OP5T - A New View
OP6 - The Speed You Need / The Red You Need
OP7 - Go Beyond Speed

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 8 Series, which include the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones, the coming months.
