Having unveiled it last month in Indonesia, Oppo has introduced the A33 in the Indian market. It is, essentially, a toned-down version of the Oppo A53 with lesser memory and inferior cameras.

The smartphone is built around a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. To make things just a bit smoother, the display comes with a 120Hz touch sampling rate. It also comes with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the display, which, then, houses an 8MP selfie shooter.

Moreover, the smartphone features a triple camera setup at the back, which comprises a 13-MP primary sensor, along with a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro camera. It comes powered by a Snapdragon 460 chipset, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

On top of that, the phone features twin bottom-firing speakers, Bluetooth v5, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and runs on Android 10 with Oppo's ColorOS 7.2 on top. Lastly, the smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery, which supports up to 18W fast charging.

The Oppo A33 price in India is set at ₹11,990 for the sole 3GB+32GB variant. It will be available later this month in two shades, namely moonlight black and mint cream, on Flipkart and Oppo's online store.
