After rolling out PUBG Mobile v0.14.5 update that brought Royale Pass Season 9 in the game, the developers have now released a version for the Lite version of the game in India. PUBG Mobile Lite players will start getting the 0.14.1 version with massive content update, including a new map, weapons and gears. Players worldwide can now drop into Golden Woods map and participate in updated challenges.
According to the developers, the Golden Woods map has a tight battleground setting, which means that it offers small towns to loot and shoot in, and a unique shrubbery for combat scenarios. The exact nature of the shrubbery is known but we’ll soon update it. In addition to the new Golden Woods map, the 0.14.1 update includes:
- New Season: A new ranked season will begin on October 1 and offer new rewards.
- Achievement System: New challenges are now available in the Missions Menu for players to test their skills for valuable prizes.
- Title System: As players unlock achievements and gain experience, they can rise among the ranks to acquire combat titles.
- New Arcade Mode: A special War mode where players can fight with an RPG-7.
- Equipment: Players will now get new items like PP-19 sub-machine gun, QBZ and QBU DMR rifle in the game.
- Speedy Vehicles: The classic PUBG four-wheeled UAZ has been added for transport across terrains
Meanwhile, four teams from Pune Finals have qualified for the PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 National Finals. The Pune chapter saw over 425,000 games played by 70,000 registrations. The four teams that qualified for the national finals will now engage for a total prize pool of Rs 1.5 crore. God's Reign, Team Mayhem, Orange Rock and Instinct shooters official from Group C (Pune) will now join Rising Hydra, Team Titans, Kill2Survive, Revenge Esports, 8Bit Rampage, TeamINS, Team GE and Team All Stars who qualified from the Jaipur and Guwahati edition of the PUBG MOBILE India Tour 2019.
