Having launched the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 earlier this month, Xiaomi has now launched a relatively affordable pair of truly wireless earphones under the Redmi brand, touted as the Earbud S. It is, essentially, a rebadged version of the Airdots S, which went on sale in China last month.

So, for those familiar with the Airdots, the Earbud S will look familiar too. These, too, come in a pebble-shaped black charging case that houses the earbuds when not in use. Each earbud features a 7.2mm driver for sound and a microphone for answering calls. They also have an IPX4 water resistance rating, which means the earbuds are resistant to water splashes.

Moreover, the truly wireless earbuds also feature low-latency game mode, which can be handy while gaming on a smartphone. This can be toggled via triple-pressing the button on the earbuds. Speaking of that, you can also play/pause music (with a single tap) and invoke a voice assistant like Google Assistant/Siri (with a double tap). Lastly, the earbuds themselves have a claimed battery life of 4 hours per charge, which can be extended up to 12 hours via the charging case. You can charge the case via a micro USB port.

Xiaomi has priced the Realme Earbud S in India at ₹1,799. The Earbud S will be available starting tomorrow at 12PM on Amazon India and Mi.com website in a single black shade.
