Redmi’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 smartphone could be the Redmi K2 Pro. The new information comes from the protective film seen on the screen of a brand-new Redmi smartphone. The smartphone is expected to come with a 48MP triple rear camera setup along with a 20MP front camera.

According to the information written on the film, the K2 Pro will have 6.30-inch AMOLED screen and will come with a new generation in-display fingerprint scanner. There will be a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.

Apart from this, the Redmi K2 Pro is expected to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and an ultra-wide camera lens. The India launch has not yet been confirmed .  

In January, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced to make Redmi an independent brand with a renewed focus on value for money offerings.

The announcement has made Redmi a subsidiary of Xiaomi. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch display with a dot notch, a glass back and a dual rear camera setup comprising 48MP and 5MP sensors, surrounded by a fingerprint scanner.

Recently, the Redmi Note 7 Pro was launched in Indian in the Nebula Red and Neptune Blue colours with gradient finishes. The Redmi Note 7 Pro sports a 6.3-inch display with a dot notch, a glass back and a dual rear camera setup – 48MP+5MP sensor.
