Having released the Galaxy M11 and M01 last month, Samsung has added yet another smartphone to its M-series line-up. In a nutshell, the Galaxy M01s is a minor upgrade over the M01 launched last month, as it features a larger display, a MediaTek chipset, and a capacitive fingerprint scanner.

As far as specifications go, the Galaxy M01s comes powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD. At the front, the smartphone features a 6.2-inch HD+ PLS TFT Infinity-V display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 1520 × 720 resolution.

In terms of camera, the Galaxy M01s packs a 13MP primary camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor on its back, with an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. Moreover, the smartphone is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery, which can be topped up via micro-USB. The M01s runs on Android 10 with Samsung's One UI Core 1.1 skin on top.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M01s will retail for ₹9,999 for the single 3GB+32GB variant. It will be available in two colours: grey and light blue, on Samsung’s online and offline stores, as well as other online retailers very soon.
