Four Indian manufactures launched Alexa built-in devices

Voice which has become a new commute for humans, the number of Alexa devices have now grown across multiple categories, including portable headsets, smart speakers and set-top boxes, with affordable products from iBall, Sirena Technologies, boAt and MyBox.

The four upcoming Alexa built-in devices include: Breathe-M from iBall, a wireless Bluetooth over-ear headset with built-in Mic, for Rs 2,225; Vood by Sirena Technologies, one of the world’s smallest portable smart speakers for Rs 2,699; boAt Stone 700A shock proof, water proof, smart speaker for Rs 7,999; MyBox Alexa Kit for the set-top box (STB), paired with a voice remote, for Rs 1,999.

Breathe-M Bluetooth-enabled headphones from iBall feature LED circular ring lights on the ear cups - which displays colours to while streaming music. Customers can access Alexa on these devices by downloading the VerveLife App from the App Store or the Google Play Store.

The boAt Stone 700A offers a battery life of eight hours and comes with dual premium drivers, compact design and 360-degree surround sound. Coming in military green and rugged black colours, the smart speaker will be launched at an introductory price of Rs 4,000 on Amazon.in.

MyBox Alexa Kit set-top-box allows customers to use voice as an intuitive and preferred mode of interaction with their STB to check weather, get latest news, recipes, listen to their favourite music tracks from Amazon Prime Music, Book Ola or Uber, check flight status, order food from Zomato, control smart home devices and engage more with visual display cards on TV.

Other, Alexa built-in devices, launched in October, include: Decibel from iBall, a wireless Bluetooth over-ear headset with built-in Mic, for Rs 1,799;    Pulse 3 and Plus 3 Max headphones from Motorola for Rs 1,599 and Rs 2,599, respectively; and Bose Home Speaker 500, Bose Soundbar 500, and Soundbar 700 for Rs 39,000, Rs 59,000 and Rs 79,000, respectively
