Vivo has expanded its Y Series line-up with the launch of the Y51A. Surprisingly, the Y51A arrives only a month after the Y50, which, as its name suggests, is the predecessor to the Y51A.

The Vivo Y51A comes powered by a Snapdragon 662 SoC, which is further paired to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD. The phone is built around a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display, with a resolution of 2408x1080-pixels.

At the rear, the Y51A packs a triple-camera setup, comprising a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. At the front, the smartphone gets a 16MP selfie shooter, which is housed neatly inside the waterdrop notch on top of the display.

Besides that, the smartphone comes with Bluetooth 5.0, 5GHz WiFi support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There's also a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner. The phone runs on the brand's Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11 and gets a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support via USB-C.

Lastly, the Vivo Y51A is priced at ₹17,990 for the sole 8GB+128GB variant. It is available in two colours – titanium sapphire and crystal symphony – starting today on Amazon, Flipkart, and major e-commerce platforms, along with Vivo's online store.
