Garmin India today announced its first ever lifestyle watch ‘Instinct,’ a GPS-enabled smartwatch with built-in three-axis compass and barometric altimeter and multiple global navigation satellite systems support along with heart rate tracking.

The Garmin Instinct comes in a fibre-reinforced polymer case and is thermal, shock, and water resistant for up to 100 metres. The display is also scratch-resistant, so you can take it with you into the extremes you face every day.

Priced at Rs 26,990, the Instinct smartwatch is available in flame red, graphite and tundra colours at Garmin’s authorised stores, select Helios stores and online shopping portals like thegarminstore.in, Paytm Mall and Amazon India.

“Built on the US military standard 810G for thermal, shock and water resistance, the watch holds all the technologically advanced features for the people who loves to explore outdoor experiences,” said Ali Rizvi, National Sales Manager, Garmin India.

With built-in wrist based heart rate monitor, users can also track daily activity, stress, sleep and other wellness data. And Instinct keeps track of heart rate, steps taken, distance travelled, calories burned, among others. It also supports hiking, running, biking, swimming, kayaking and skiing.

The smartwatch is loaded with various multiple sports modes like running, cycling, swimming, climbing, skiing, rowing, weightlifting and yoga. The watch can be paired with phone and Garmin Connect online fitness community for automatic uploads, live tracking and the GroupTrack feature.
