Apple's new iPad Air may change the tablet market. After more than two years since the last major iPad update, Apple wanted to pique interest in the product. It's been an interesting trip for the iPad. At first, it was still a revolutionary instrument, despite changing purpose and posture. With so many features and choices, the iPad might have confused consumers and undermined its original purpose. Let's see how Apple handles these issues and if they can reinvent the iPad experience with this new update, maybe reviving the market.

iPad Air: Specifications

Compared to their predecessors, the newest iPads offer noticeable improvements in terms of functionality and performance. However, similar to their predecessors, they maintain a 60Hz LCD screen. Now available in a larger range of colours, the iPad Air includes Space Grey, Blue, Pink, Purple, and Starlight. With 8 GB of RAM and storage options from 128 GB to a whopping 1 TB, these latest iPad Air devices come with iPadOS 17.5.

The new iPad Air features a 12MP Wide rear camera that can record detailed 4K video at 240 frames per second and an Ultra Wide 12MP front-facing camera. Both cameras are capable of capturing high-resolution photographs and video.

The cameras are paired with two microphones that pick up sound from the live camera and cut down on background noise for a smooth experience.

As is customary, these models use Touch ID for authentication; Face ID is saved just for the Pro line. With their stereo speaker configuration, the new iPad Air models enable spatial audio and provide crisp audio output over the USB-C port. They function flawlessly with the Magic Keyboard and (for cellular variants) with 5G networks.
