Taiwanese giant Acer today launched a new gaming laptops -- Predator Helios 300 that comes equipped with "PredatorSense" software which provides real-time system information and overclocking speeds which allows gamers to monitor and control the system's resources from one centralised interface.
The laptops come in two variants -- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 and 1050Ti GPU graphic cards combined with 7th Generation Intel Core i7 (7700HQ) and i5 processor (7300HQ), respectively. At a starting price of 1,29,999, consumers can purchase the device from Flipkart starting today (August 17).
The laptop comes with massive 16GB of RAM expandable up to 32GB and has 256GB SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) and 1TB HDD for storage.
Speaking of aesthetics, both the variants sports a matte black chassis with red accents along with a red backlit keyboard.
To prevent from heating, both the laptops are equipped with AeroBlade 3D Fan. The Helios 300 series laptops are available in 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch display sizes.
It uses Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony technology to deliver crisp sound. For connectivity, the Predator Helios 300 is home to USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, and an HDMI 2.0 port.
The laptops support Dolby Atmos which Acer claims will deliver a crisp and immersive audio experience for a more enhanced gaming experience.
Earlier this year, Acer introduced Nitro 5, another gaming laptop in India at Rs 75,990. Nitro 5 also featured a matte black chassis with a red hinge running at the back of the device. The laptop is powered by 7th generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processor paired up with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/1050Ti graphics card.
