Following the launch of the Amazfit Bip S early next month, Chinese wearables manufacturer Huami has now introduced its lighter derivative, touting it as the Bip S Lite. Where the Bip S Lite gets an identical design as opposed to its standard sibling, it gets lesser features to keep the costs in check.
The Bip S Lite packs a 1.28inch color display with a 176×176 pixel resolution at the front, accompanied by chunky bezels both on the top as well as the bottom. Like its standard sibling, the main talking point of the Bip S Lite is its battery life, which can last for up to 30 days on normal usage and up to 90 days on standby mode.
Moreover, the Bip S Lite also promises to be a nice fitness companion, thanks to the dedicated BioTracker PPG bio-tracking optical sensor to track heart rate, 8 different sports modes, and a 3-axis acceleration sensor for activity tracking. The smartwatch also comes with Huami-PAI health assessment feature, which analyzes the data collected over the last 7 days to show a PAI score. Moreover, it can also show notifications, weather, music controls, and so on.
In addition to that, the Bip S Lite is also rated for water resistance up to 5ATM pressure, which means it can survive underwater about 50 metres for 10 minutes. Moreover, the smartwatch features Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with smartphones running Android 5 and above, or iOS 10 and above.
The Amazfit Bip S lite has been priced at ₹3,799 in the Indian market. It will go on sale on Flipkart and Amazfit’s official website starting today via a flash sale today at 12PM. In case you miss the first flash sale today, the second one is slated for August 3rd at 12 PM. You can grab the Bip S Lite in three colours: charcoal black, oxford blue, and sakura pink.
