Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, Echo Sub and an all-new Kindle Paperwhite is now available for purchase in India, the US-based e-tailer announced today.

The Echo Sub is the first wireless Echo subwoofer from Amazon and is available at Rs 12,999. The Kindle Paperwhite is priced at Rs 12,999 and features a thinner and lighter design, sleek flush-front display and waterproofing so you can read comfortably anywhere.

Over 80 per cent more powerful as compared to previous streaming device, the Fire TV Stick 4K is the first streaming media stick available with Dolby Vision.  It also allows users access to thousands of apps and Alexa skills, as well as over thousands of movies and TV episodes from Prime Video, Hotstar, Netflix, Sony LIV, Zee5 and more.

With Alexa available on Fire TV (both Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Stick 4K), customers can now use the inbox Voice Remotes to just ask (#justask) for TV shows, open apps, and do much more. You can also ask for weather, check sports scores, order food, book a cab and stream millions of songs with the convenience of your voice remote.

The all-new Alexa Voice Remote is also available as a standalone remote for Rs 1,999.

Consumers can connect Echo Sub to compatible Echo devices to create a 1.1 or 2.1 pairing for stereo sound and with the equalizer feature users can adjust the bass, mid-range, and treble of the pairing simply by using your voice. Each band can be adjusted between minus 6 dB and 6 dB. To make an adjustment, just say: “Alexa, set the base to minus 6”, “Alexa, decrease the treble”, “Alexa, set mid- range to maximum”, or “Alexa, reset equalizer”

Weighing 182g, the six-inch, high resolution 300 ppi display in the new Kindle Paperwhite allows for crisp, laser-quality text, and an adjustable front light allows for a uniform, glare-free display in any setting—even direct sunlight. The e-reader is IPX8 rated to protect against immersion in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes.

It is available in 8 GB, which is twice the storage as the previous generation and can hold thousands of titles. Customers can also purchase a premium leather cover for Rs 2,999 in rustic; leather covers, all Rs 2,399, in black, merlot, punch red, and indigo purple; and water-safe fabric covers, all Rs 1,799, in charcoal black, canary yellow, and marine blue.
