New online leaks suggest that the upcoming Apple iPhone 11 will come with triple cameras at the back, smaller notch and will run iOS 13. Images of the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Max, have surfaced on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
The triple rear camera array consisting of a standard wide-angle unit, an ultra-wide angle unit and a telephoto unit, is seen in the square layout placed at the top left corner at the back. According to the media reports, all three might be 12MP sensors developed by Sony.
Renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed the 2019 iPhone models will carry the same screen size as the 2018 models, which means there will be a 6.4-inch iPhone XS Max successor, a 5.8-inch iPhone XS successor and a 6.1-inch XR (2019). The company has also filed a patent for underwater photography utilising software enhancements. The patent describes a system that has the ability to automatically adjust the camera settings when the iPhone is underwater. According to Apple, the new camera enhancement will allow users to take better pictures. However, if this technology will be rolled out in this year’s iPhones is still not clear.
Other new features coming to the iPhone 11 include increased band connectivity, frosted glass finish, reverse charging, improved Face ID, bigger batteries and a triple camera system.
