E-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart have announced their Independence Day sales today, which will run till August 12 and August 11, respectively.
While Amazon’s Great Indian sale is offering up to 35 per cent on mobile phones, great offers on Apple iPhones along with 15 per cent cashback on SBI debit and credit card on Amazon.in App and 10 per cent cashback on desktop, Flipkart’s Big Freedom Sale is offering Google Pixel with a price cut of Rs 18,000.
After a flat discount of Rs 10,301, Apple iPhone 7 Plus 32GB is now available at Rs 56,999 on Flipkart. The e-commerce giant is also offering iPhone 6 (32GB) at Rs 23,999 with exchange offers up to Rs 15,600 on old phone. Moto G5 Plus has also got a price cut of Rs 2,000 and now comes at Rs 14,999.
Amazon is also offering up to Rs 5,000 discount on Lenovo smartphones, up to Rs 2,000 off on Motorola smartphones, up to Rs 1,400 off on Samsung smartphones, up to Rs 1,000 off on Honor smartphones along with exchange offers up to Rs 17,000 on smartphones including additional exchange benefits up to Rs 2,000 for OnePlus smartphones. Flipkart is offering flat Rs 899 off on Moto E4 Plus and Rs 3,000 off on Moto M.
The sale of LG’s upcoming smartphone Q6 will also start today and Amazon is offering an additional exchange benefit of Rs 3000 on the purchase of Q6. Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 is also sale from August 9 and on August 11, 3 p.m onwards and Redmi 4A goes on sale today, starting from 3 p.m onwards.
With the purchase of 65-inch and 55-inch TCL Android TV, users will get a 32-inch and a 24-inch TV free, respectively. Amazon is also offering 40 per cent off on Bose Soundtrue Ultra IE headPhone MFI, 35 per cent off on Fitbit Charge 2 fitness tracker, 35 per cent off on JBL speakers and up to 50 per cent off on Sennheiser headphones.
And as consumers are spoilt for choice in the ongoing sale, Flipkart and Amazon are giving each other a tough competition with an equally strong discount on gadgets and other appliances.
There is also a discount of up to 30 per cent on air conditioners including installation offers on LG, Blue Star, Samsung, Whirlpool, up to 20 per cent off on refrigerators from Samsung, Whirlpool, LG and up to 25 per cent off on washing machines from BPL, IFB, Bosch on Amazon’s Great Indian sale.
Flipkart on the other hand is extending warrantees on appliances like ACs and microwaves.
There is flat 75 per cent discount on bestselling eBooks from the Kindle Book Store as well as a 1-year Kindle unlimited subscription at a discounted price of Rs 1,499 on Amazon.
