Apple Store, which was launched in India last month, is currently down in key markets including Australia, China, Germany, the United States, and, of course, in India.
Although Apple hasn't issued any reason for the same, it comes just hours ahead of the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro pre-orders, which begin later today in Australia, China, Germany, the United States, Japan, and the UK. In India, however, pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will begin from October 23.
Therefore, in the abovesaid markets, the online store says, “You're… early. Pre-order begins at 5:00 a.m. PDT. Enjoy the extra sleep.” The Indian Apple Store, on the other hand, mentions, “We'll be right back. Updates are coming to the Apple Store. Check back soon.”
On another note, the downtime in India comes ahead of the Diwali offer, which is supposed to kick-off on Saturday, October 17. The offer will bring free AirPods with the purchase of every iPhone 11 model, which now begins at ₹47,900 for the base 64GB variant.
