Dell has announced its portfolio of gaming laptops for 2020. It has announced four laptops at different price points and configurations targeting a diversified bag of gamers in the country.
The most expensive of the four laptops, the Alienware M15 R3 comes with a 15-inch 4K OLED panel, which delivers precise colours and deep blacks. The laptop has a refresh rate of 60Hz, 100 per cent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and it offers 3ms response times for an enhanced gaming experience.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the M15 R3 is powered by the Intel 10th generation Core i9 processor and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super GPU with Max-Q design. The device is built out of Magnesium Alloy for lightness and rigidity. It also has a Tobii Eye Tracking technology built-in, which allows one to control the laptop and some of the compatible games. The price of the laptop starts at ₹1,99,990.
The Dell G5 15 comes with a full-HD display with an anti-glare coating. It has a refresh rate of 60Hz, 220nits of brightness and has a wide viewing angle. Under the hood, the device is mechanized by the 10th Gen Core i7 processors coupled with the Nvidia GTX 1650Ti graphics. The laptop has dual-fan cooling technology and large cooling vents, which help in keeping the thermals in check. It holds a battery capacity of 51Wh.
For connectivity, it gets Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, an HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet, a SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, an SD card slot, two SuperSpeed USB 2.0 ports, and a USB Type-C port. It comes with a full-size backlit keyboard. The laptop is available in an interstellar dark colour and is priced at ₹82,590.
The Special Edition G5 is quite similar to the regular G5 in terms of design. It comes with a 15.6-inch full-HD display, a refresh rate of 60Hz and 220nits of brightness. The laptop functions on the AMD Radeon RX 5600M GPU and up to AMD Ryzen 4000 H series processors instead of Intel and Nvidia. The battery capacity of the laptop is 51Wh.
The connectivity options on-board the device include Bluetooth v5.1, Killer Wireless 1650x 2x2 AX, SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, two SuperSpeed USB 2.0 ports, and an Ethernet port. The Dell G5 15 SE is available in silver colour with blue accents. The price of the laptops starts at ₹74,990.
The Dell G3 15 features a full-HD 60Hz display with quite impressive specs. It comes powered by 10th gen Intel Core i7 processors, coupled with the 16GB DDR4 memory and Nvidia GTX 1650 and 1650Ti GPUs. The RAM of the device can be configured up to 16GB DDR4 and the storage options onboard include 256GB PCIe M.2 SSD or 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD with 1TB 5400 RPM HDD configuration.
In terms of connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, a SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI port, an SD card slot, two SuperSpeed USB 2.0 ports and an Ethernet port. The Dell G3 15 also houses a 51Wh battery. The laptop is available in two different colour options - eclipse black and alpine white - starting from ₹73,990.
