Flipkart has announced that it will be holding the Big Billion Days sale from September 29 through October 4. While the sale on TVs and other electronic appliances will start from September 29, the e-commerce giant mentions that customers can avail discounts on mobile phones, tablets, gadgets and accessories from September 30. If you are a Flipkart Plus member, then you will get an early access four hours before the sale starts.
According to a landing page on Flipkart, there will ‘crazy deals’ on mobile phones, TVs, laptops and electronic items at 12am, 8am, 12pm and 8pm everyday. The e-commerce website will hold flash sale every hour, every day. Rush hours -- the time period where buyers can avail extra discounts -- will be from 12am to 2am everyday. Axis Bank credit and debit cards holders, and ICICI bank credit cards owners can get 10 per cent instant discounts. Buyers also stand a chance to win an iPhone XR on shopping.
When it comes to mobile phones and tablets, the e-commerce site mentions that it will also host the launch of products from premium brands and offer mobiles and tablets at the “lowest prices of the year.” Flipkart also claims that it will offer the best exchange value on older phones during the sale.
The landing page mentions ‘Combo Deals’ in which customers can avail an extra 15 per cent off on buying three products and an extra 20 per cent discount on purchase of four items. If you shop for Rs 1,999, you can get additional 15 per cent discount overall, and on the purchase of goods worth 2,499, you can avail an extra 20 per cent discount. What’s unclear is whether these combo offers are also applicable on purchase of electronics, mobile phones, tablets and accessories.
