Fujifilm India Private Limited has introduced a new addition to the X-series mirrorless digital camera range, called the X-T4. The launch has been virtual via YouTube live feed. The latest value for money camera is a delight for all the photographers and videographers.

The Fujifilm X-T4 is the successor of the X-T3 which was launched about two years back. The X-T4 is available in two colours – silver and black. It features the fastest ever autofocus performance, in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) and the new PDAF Algorithm. X-T4 is the first camera in its family to feature an in-body image stabilization (IBIS), at 5-axis and 6.5 stops.

As far as the battery is concerned, the Fujifilm X-T4 functions on a new battery that is 1.5x bigger than the previous one. The current 2200mAh battery allows around 600 frames in a single charge.

Talking about the processor, the device retains its image sensor with a 26.1MP BSI X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor along with the X-Processor 4 image processor. This results in a 1.5x crop in comparison to full-frame cameras. The device brings an enhanced hybrid autofocus system which enables a combination of phase detection (PDAF) and contrast autofocus. Eye and face autofocus options are also available which can be used while doing burst photography.

When it comes to videography, the camera can shoot at up to 4K at 60fps at 4:4:2 10-bit externally and 4:2:0 internally over SD at a bitrate of 400mbps. The X-T4 is the first camera from Fujifilm to record FHD videos at 240fps for 10x slow-motion capture. The videographers will be in awe of the separate menu it has for the video settings and the 3-inch articulating touch display.

In terms of functionality, the X-T4 features ETERNA Bleach Bypass. It is a new film simulation mode for versatile cinematic colour tones, hard tonality, low colour saturation and high contrast for storytelling imagery.

The body only version of X-T4 is available for ₹ 1,54,999, the one with Fujinon XF18-55mmF2.8-4 is available for ₹ 1,84,999 and the one with Fujinon XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR is priced at ₹ 1,99,999.
