Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s Freedom Carnival sale is now live on Vivo online store. The pre-Independence 72-hour sale begins starting today (on August 7) and goes on till August 9. As part of a flash deal, Vivo Nex smartphone that comes with a motorised selfie camera and Mid-range Vivo V9 smartphone are available for just Rs 1947.
Customers purchasing the Vivo Nex or V9 smartphone will also get Bluetooth earphones free. Jio customers can enjoy instant benefits worth Rs 4,050 on the purchase of select Vivo smartphones.
Apart from flash deals, Vivo also announced exclusive discounts, hot deals, coupons and lucky draw as part of the sale. In addition, Vivo is offering discounts on earphones, USB cable and premium earphones.
The Vivo Carnival Sale includes five per cent cashback on select purchases made using HDFC Credit Cards EMI and No Cost EMI up to 12 months. The smartphones which are eligible for the offer include Vivo Y71 (4GB), Vivo V9, Vivo X21, Vivo V9 Youth, Vivo Y83, Vivo Y71i. Separately customers can also claim coupons worth Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000, Rs 150 and Rs 50 on eligible smartphones.
The 72-hour Independence Day sale also includes exclusive discounts on the Vivo Y66, Vivo Y55s and Vivo Y69. The Vivo Y66 with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM now comes with flat Rs 4,000 off thus lowering the price of the smartphone to Rs 8,990. The Vivo Y55s with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC comes with Rs 2,500 off reducing the price down to Rs 8,490 and the Vivo Y69 with 16MP moonlight selfie camera come with a flat discount of Rs 4,000 to Rs 9,990.
Vivo Nex runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouch OS and packs a 6.59-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The Vivo Nex is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
For the cameras, the Vivo Nex houses dual 12MP cameras on the rear wherein the primary lens has a f/1.8 aperture while the other has a f/2.4 aperture. There is also 8MP motorised selfie camera. The camera is further powered by AI that automatically adjusts sharpness, brightness, etc. depending on the scenes. The NEX's camera also has AI Face beauty, AI HDR, Slow-motion, Live photo, Portrait bokeh modes.
