With the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Apple iPhone 11 Series now launched, the Google Pixel 4 phones are the next much-awaited smartphones. While there is no official confirmation about the launch date,....

Apple may have stolen the show by launching its iPhone 11 Series of smartphones, but Google Pixel 4 leaks are still raining cats and dogs. There are three major developments regarding the next generation of Pixel phones. The first is related to the launch date of these handsets, the second is about the colour options that Google is expected to offer with devices, and the third is regarding the display and the processor of the phone.

The first development comes from noted tipster Evan Blass. He has shared an image on Twitter in which a phone that looks a lot like the upcoming Google Pixel 4 is seen with ‘10:00’ (time) and ‘Tue, Oct 15’ (day and date). Although Google hasn’t released any official information regarding the launch date, but this could be taken as a hint that the search engine giant may unveil the phones at an event scheduled for 10:00am local time on October 15.

The second information has been leaked by YouTube channel Gadget Leaks. A 15-second video, titled ‘Google Pixel 4 Hands on leaked’, has been posted on the channel. The clip shows ‘Google Pixel 4 Orange Colour’ (or Coral) and looks authentic, thanks to the square module with dual cameras that was confirmed by the company earlier this year. Additionally, images of a black and a white coloured Pixel devices were also shared. As per the images, Google will opt a full glass back design and will not include the frosting that gives a matte texture to back panel.

The third development confirms what we already know and gives little information about the display. An image is making rounds on the internet in which we can see a phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. If it is believed that the phone in the image is a Pixel device, then it confirms that Google’s upcoming smartphone offering won’t use Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform. The Snapdragon 855+ is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 855 and delivers a better performance and gaming experience.

The image also shows that the phone will sport a 6.23-inch display, and by what we have seen so far, this could be the Pixel 4 XL. The screen resolution is seen to be 3040 x 1440. Previous rumours have suggested that both the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL will come with 90Hz displays. The device could also come equipped with 6GB RAM, and will feature Android 10 out-of-the-box. The Pixel 4 XL may house a 3,700 mAh battery, while the Pixel 4 (which may have 5.7-inch display) may come with 2,800 mAh battery.
