Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i smartphones launched in India

The newly launched Honor 20 series will take on OnePlus and Oppo with its Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro smartphone, and the Honor 20i will go head to head with Xiaomi's and Realme's devices.

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor today launched three new smartphones in the Honor 20 series consisting of Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20 and Honor 20i. The Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 come with features including punch-hole display and quad rear camera setup.

The Honor 20 costs Rs 32,999 for the 6GB/128GB version. The Honor 20 Pro costs Rs 39,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. The Honor 20i carries a price of Rs 14,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant.

Consumers can purchase the Honor 20 on Flipkart starting from 25. The Honor 20i will be sold via offline retailers as well as on Flipkart, starting from June 18. The company did not announce any availability for the Honor 20 Pro and said the device will be available ‘soon.’

While the Honor 20 Pro will come in phantom blue colour, the Honor 20 will come in midnight black and sapphire blue colours. The Honor 20i will be released in gradient red, gradient blue, and magic night black colours.

The Honor 20 features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) All-View display along with a hole-punch selfie camera and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC and runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top.

The Honor 20 has a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 16MP secondary sensor with a 117-degree super-wide-angle lens that has an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. There is a 32MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens and 3D Portrait Lighting support at the front.

The Honor 20 Pro also comes with a 6.26-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display and is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor and runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top. The Honor 20 Pro also has a quad rear camera setup, but is slightly different from the Honor 20. The primary 48MP shooter has an f/1.4 lens and a large 0.5-inch sensor. Additionally, there is a 16MP super-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 117-degree angle lens, an 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture that support 3x lossless optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom, and a fourth 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture for macro photography.

The Honor 20 Pro packs a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W Honor Super Charge support.

The Honor 20i has a smaller 6.21-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is powered by octa-core Kirin 710F SoC. The processor is paired with the Mali G51MP4 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0.1 on top. Instead of a quad camera, the Honor 20i packs a triple rear camera setup – 24MP primary shooter with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, there is a 32MP camera with an f/2.0 lens with support for HDR, portrait mode, and face unlock for authentication.
