Huawei's sub-brand Honor has launched two new 5G smartphones in China - Honor Play 4 and Play 4 Pro. The Honor Play 4 features a 6.81-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It functions on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The device comes with an internal storage of 128GB.
Talking about the camera setup, the device holds a 64MP rear camera with f/1.89 aperture, LED flash, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front of the smartphone holds a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The connectivity options of the device include Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 5G (SA/ NSA) / Dual 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C charging port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Honor Play 4 Pro, on the other hand, features a display of 6.57-inch Full HD+ and a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. It functions on HUAWEI Kirin 990 processor with ARM Mali-G76MP16 GPU which makes it a flagship offering in terms of its performance. The smartphone offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The rear camera setup of the Honor Play 4 Pro comprises a 40MP camera with a Sony IMX600 RYYB sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, an 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom, and Laser autofocus. The front camera array consists of a 32MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The connectivity options of the Honor Play 4 Pro include Bluetooth 5, 5G (SA/ NSA) / Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and USB Type-C charging port.
The Honor Play 4, starting from 1799 yuan (roughly Rs 19,090), is available in midnight black, phantom blue and blue with pink gradient, whereas the Honor Play 4 Pro 5G priced from 2899 yuan (roughly Rs 30,760) is available in dark blue, midnight black and blue with pink gradient colour options.
