In order to expand its range of business laptops in the Indian market, HP has introduced its ProBook 635 Aero G7 series of laptops, which come across as an ultralight notebook powered by the new AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors.
According to HP, the ProBook 635 Aero G7 is the world's lightest AMD-based business laptop. The laptop weighs just under 1 kilogram, despite featuring an all-metal body built with magnesium alloy. The front is dominated by a 13.3-inch Full-HD+ display surrounded by sleek bezels all around and a webcam with a physical shutter housed in the top bezel.
As said before, the laptop comes powered by the new AMD Ryzen 4000 series processor, which comes with integrated AMD Radeon Vega Graphics. It can be configured to feature up to Ryzen 7 4700U processor, with a boost clock up to 4.1GHz. It is, then, paired with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage.
The ProBook 635 Aero G7 is available with two battery configurations – a 42Wh variant with up to 18 hours of standby time and a 53Wh variant that should last up to 23 hours. Connectivity options include one USB-C 3.1 Gen2, two USB 3.1 Gen1, one HDMI 2.0, two audio jacks, and a Nano Security Lock Slot. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 out-of-the-box.
The HP ProBook 635 Aero G7 is now available for pre-order from the company's official website. The shipping time is expected to be around four to six weeks. Lastly, the laptop starts at ₹74,999 for the base configuration.
