The Chinese electronics giant Huawei just announced the launch of the Huawei FreeBuds 3 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds, priced at ₹12,990. The Earbuds will be available from 20 May, exclusively on Amazon India. For the time being, interested buyers can register themselves on the ‘Notify Me’ option available on the site. The customers will get Huawei CP61 wireless charger with the earbuds and they can also avail the no-cost EMI option which starts from just ₹18 per day.
Huawei claims that FreeBuds 3 are the only open-fit true wireless earphones with active noise cancellation (ANC). Double-tapping on the left earbud to turn on/off the ANC function enables the user to listen to crystal-clear music, even in a noisy situation.
"We are glad to bring to India the world’s only open fit active noise cancellation earbuds. The idea is to make noise cancellation devices more portable. According to a report by Counterpoint Research, the Indian TWS market has posted a massive 700% growth in 2019, becoming the fastest growing market in wearables. Huawei brings a unique offering in this segment with the launch of Huawei FreeBuds 3, which is the first Open-fit TWS earbuds to support call noise reduction and accurate real-time active noise cancellation. We have ensured that users get an enriched and enhanced listening experience with the TWS technology. We are certain that this device will be a game-changer in the audio device industry in India.” said a Huawei spokesperson.
Huawei further claims that the FreeBuds 3 can last up to 4 hours on a single charge, while the case can provide an additional juice up to 20 hours. You can charge the case via a USB-C cable or a Qi wireless charger. The earphones are powered with Kirin A1 chip that is the same processor that powers its GT2 smartwatch. It features Bluetooth 5.1. with a connectivity range of about 150m. For sound, each earbud features a 14mm dynamic driver, which is one of the biggest in the segment.
