Huawei e-brand Honor is set to launch the successor of its Honor 6X mid-range smartphone, called Honor 7X and will arrive on October 11, the company announced on Weibo.
The company has sent out invites that reads “Want to see farther than ordinary people? Higher? Wider? Everywhere is your world.” This most likely means the phone will have an 18:9 ratio EntireView display, as is the trend has gained momentum lately.
The device is expected to come with a 5.5-inch screen and a Kirin 670 chipset paired up with 4 GB of RAM and will offer 64 GB storage. Huawei is also set to launch a new version of its Emotion UI, so the Honor 7X is most likely to run EMUI 5.1 on top of the Android 7.1 Nougat.
The price of Honor 7X is expected between $220-$270 or an approximately Rs 17,900. The smartphone is expected to sport 12MP dual rear cameras.
Huawei is also expected to launch a bezel-less Honor smartphone in India in October. The next smartphone will come with four cameras -- dual cameras at the rear and at front as well.
The smartphone is expected to be Indian version of Maimang 6 that comes with a 16MP and 2MP camera at the rear. Up front, it houses a 13MP primary and 2MP secondary camera. However, Maimang 6 doesn’t come with a bezel-less display.
Huawei recently launched Honor 8 Pro in India that comes with dual lens camera setup and 6GB of RAM and is priced at Rs 29,999.
