Huawei has launched the MediaPad M5 Lite 10 in India. The tablet sports a wider 10.1-inch 1080p full-HD IPS multi-touch display and offers a 1920 x 1200 pixels.
Interested customers can register themselves on ‘Notify Me’. The MediaPad M5 Lite 10 will be available on Flipkart, Croma and several other retail stores across India for Rs 22,990. The pre-sale will commence on March 6.
The tablet is armed with ClariVu 5.0, a display technology that adjusts the contrast and colour saturation based on intelligent algorithms, targeting both the video playback and image browsing. The device comes with in-built Harman Kardon tuned quad speakers and offers a 3D surround sound effect thanks to the customised smart power amplifiers.
The tablet sports a metallic uni-body and has 2.5D curved glass around edges. The M-Pen Lite stylus that comes bundled with the tablet also has a metal body and has a balanced weight for a very smooth hand feel. With 2,048 layers of pressure sensitivity, users can jot down notes or mark-up emails very easily. Huawei says the silver-grey metal stylus has a vintage feel due to rich texture quality.
The Huawei's MediaPad M5 Lite 10 also take into account the scenarios where children use tablets. Parents can set limits for children’s usage and customise the content. The tablet is powered by an 8-core processor and runs on the EMUI 8.0.
The device is claimed to deliver 13 hours of video playback. The tablet can be charged quickly thanks to the QuickCharge technology and it comes with a 9V/2A 18W charger.
