The Huawei P20 Lite 2019 goes a design transformation -- ditches the notch for a punch hole display. The smartphone will be powered by Kirin 710 system on chip paired up with 4GB of RAM.

Last year, Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei introduced P20 series in India consisting of P20, P20 Pro and P20 Lite smartphones. While P20 was the leader among all with top-of-line specs, the P20 Lite carried decent specs and was targeted at affordable users. Now according to the media reports, Huawei will launch the ‘P20 Lite 2019’ smartphone in India which will come with a new design and upgraded specs.

According to the images leaked online, the P20 Lite 2019 will come in a gradient finish body (popular trend now a days). It will have a quad camera setup as compared to the dual camera set-up of P20 Lite which was launched last year. At the front, instead of a notch, the company has opted for a punch-hole display for a large viewing experience.

The P20 Lite is expected to come with a 5.84-inch full-HD+ LCD display identical to P20 Lite of 2018. The smartphone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, unlike the Kirin 659 SoC. There will be two storage options 64GB and 128GB clubbed with 4GB of RAM.

For photography, the P20 Lite 2019 will have a 24MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. While the exact specs of other sensors are not yet unkown, but having a quad camera setup means there will also be an ultra-wide angle lens, a telephoto lens and a ToF depth sensor. At the front, there will be either a 16MP or 20MP selfie camera.

The smartphone will be fuelled by the 3,000mAh battery.
