Huawei Consumer Business group today launched the Watch GT 2 that comes with two weeks of battery life, supports Bluetooth calling and has the capacity to store and play 500 songs. The Huawei Watch GT 2 sports a Super AMOLED display with 3D glass screen.
The watch is powered by the Huawei’s proprietary Kirin A1 chipset that integrates an advanced Bluetooth processing unit, a powerful audio processing unit, an ultra-low power consumption application processor and a separate power management unit.
The Watch GT 2 is compatible with 15 sports including eight outdoor sports (running, walking, climbing, hiking trail running, cycling, open water, triathlon) and seven indoor sports (walking, running, cycling, swimming pool, free training, elliptical machine, rowing machine). If you have turned on heart rate, the watch will notify if your heart rate is above 100bpm or below 50bpm for more than 10 minutes. The watch is also powered with sleep monitoring function.
The Watch GT 2 will be available on both online and at retail outlets across India.
The 42mm Watch GT 2 in sports band in black colour is priced at Rs 15,990, the 46mm leather is priced at Rs 17, 990 and the 46mm in metal band costs Rs 21, 990.
The 42mm variant of the watch will be available for Rs 14,990. Its availability and offers will be announced at a later date.
The watch will be available across Flipkart, Amazon, Croma and other retail stores. As part of pre-sale activity, customers can book the watch between December 12 to December 18. Pre-booking customers will get Huawei Freelace worth Rs 6,999 free. They are required to make the full payment for the watch at the time of booking the watch.
The first sale for the Huawei Watch GT 2 will start from December 19, 12 a.m. onwards and will run till Decemeber 31. Consumers purchasing the device in the first sale period will get Huawei Minispeaker (Rs 2,999) for free. They can also avail the option of No-Cost EMI.
