Tech giant Huawei today launched Watch GT, a long-battery life smartwatch that features a classic wristwatch design, consumes less power and offers activity tracking and fitness coaching features.

The 1.39-inch, 454x454 AMOLED high resolution display watch clearly present information on the wrist. The smart watch body incorporates a dual-crown design with stainless steel and ceramic bezels, and is treated with a DLC diamond carbon coating for durability. The watch features a jade-like texture and is compatible with two band options—a dual-colour silicone band and an elegant leather-rubber band.

The smartwatch supports sports modes such as hiking, trail run, outdoor walking, running, cycling, swimming and free training. It supports all-round sports data tracking in the context of cooperation with professional sports organisations, such as time, distance, heart rate, stride frequency, step count, stride, matching speed, aerobic and anaerobic training effect, training status, training load, recovery time suggestion and VO2max. 

The TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology tracks the user’s active and resting heart rate. The Watch GT supports 24-hour continuous smart heart rate monitoring, and can detect the user’s exercise status before entering the exercise mode and intelligently adjust the detection frequency of the heart rate according to the exercise status.

In addition, the smartwatch also features faster single-measurement heart rate value, alarm of heart rate rise, continuous pressure monitoring and early warning (not supported by overseas edition) and moderate to high-intensity exercise.

The company also launched Huawei Band 3 Pro and Band 3e. The Band 3 Pro is a new smart wristband supporting a range of precise and professional monitoring capabilities, including improved heart rate and sleep monitoring.

The TruSeen 3.0 technology is also present on both the bands and monitors the heart rate of a user throughout the day.

The Huawei Band 3 Pro features a 0.95-inch HD AMOLED colour touch screen with easy and intuitive controls that allows users to navigate the various options on the screen by swiping vertically or horizontally, or by tapping the screen to return to Home.

The Huawei Band 3e is a sports bracelet wearable with an ergonomic design that offer a smooth and comfortable fit. The Band 3e uses a new footwear mode, an application that provides precise running data with the press of a button.

With 50m water-resistance, the Band 3e is designed for completing easy everyday tasks as well as water intensive activities like swimming.

The Huawei Watch GT will be available starting March 19 at Rs 16,990 for Classic Edition and Rs 15,990 for the Sports Edition. Early bird customers would get Huawei Sport BT AM61 earphones worth Rs 2999 free along with the Watch GT.

The Band 3 Pro will be available on Amazon.in starting March 26 at Rs 4699 in obsydian black and space blue variants. The Band 3e will be available on Amazon.in starting March 19 at Rs 1,699 in pink and black colours.
