Infinix's new smartphone, the Note 40 5G, is all set to launch in India on June 21. When launched, the Infinix Note 40 will join the Note 40 Pro in the Note 40 lineup. Already available in the Philippines, the 5G version of the Infinix Note 40 is expected to arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 onboard storage. It should run on Android 14-based XOS 14. While this is based on speculations, the India-spec Infinix Note 40 5G is confirmed to get a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W wired and 15W wireless charging. It will also be compatible with the MagKit.
The display of the Infinix Note 40 5G will be a full-HD+ AMOLED panel with very slim bezels. Measuring 6.78 inches in size, it will bear a 120Hz refresh rate and a 93.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
For optics, the Infinix Note 40 will sport a triple rear camera unit housed within a rectangular camera island. The setup will likely comprise a 108-megapixel OIS-enabled primary sensor with a 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there could be a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.
A JBL sound system is also confirmed. Infinix claims the sound system offers immersive audio, 360-degree symmetrical sound and a boosted bass. The right side of the Note 40 5G will house the volume rocker and power button, while there will be a USB Type-C charging port on the bottom edge.

The Infinix Note 40 5G will be available in two colour options in India – Obsidian Black and Titan Gold.
