Having announced the Zero 8 back in August, Infinix has now introduced the Zero 8i in the Indian market. The mid-range smartphone packs a MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and features a Quad-Camera setup.

After announcing the Zero 8 back in August, Infinix has now introduced the Zero 8i in the Indian market as its latest mid-ranger and a slightly toned-down version of the Zero 8.

The Infinix Zero 8i is largely identical to the standard Zero 8, thanks to the use of the same body and internals. It also gets a 6.85-inch LCD panel with a Full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Moreover, it comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

Unlike the Zero 8's 64MP primary sensor, the 8i gets a slightly inferior 48MP primary shooter, which is joined by an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an AI camera. At the front, it gets a 16MP primary selfie camera (compared to Zero 8's 48MP unit), along with the same 8MP ultrawide sensor.

Besides that, the smartphone comes with a 4,500mAh battery, which can be charged with 33W fast charging via USB-C. It also packs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack.

The Infinix Zero 8i price in India is set at ₹14,999 for the sole 8GB+128GB variant. It is expected to go on sale via Flipkart on December 9 in two colours: silver diamond and black diamond.
