Let’s face it, we all have people in our Instagram lists that we are no longer interested in – we neither talk to them nor we are interested in their updates that we see on our feed. You always have an option to remove such names, but Instagram is now making this process easier. It has added a new feature, which lets you sort out the accounts that you follow based on 'Most shown in feed' and 'Least interacted with'. From there, users can choose to unfollow them.
‘Instagram is really about bringing you closer to the people and things you care about – but we know that over time, your interests and relationships can evolve and change. Whether you graduate, move to a new city, or become obsessed with a new interest and find a community, we want to make it easier to manage the accounts you follow on Instagram so that they best represent your current connections and interests,’ the company said.

The feature will come handy if you want to streamline your experience, curate the feed with things that matter to you and cut down on your following count. Recently, Instagram added a feature that allowed users to sort their following list from the earliest to the latest. Users were able to revisit their early days when they were new to the platform. Now you don’t have to hit like every time you see an unwanted post or quickly scroll up, skipping what you no longer want to see on your feed.
