Chinese marque BBK Group launched its iQOO sub-brand in India in Q1 2020. Previously starting at ₹38,990 for the base 8GB + 128GB model with 4G connectivity, iQOO has officially slashed its prices to ₹34,990. Consequently, other variants of the iQOO 3 have also received a price cut, with the 8GB + 256GB 4G variant now priced at ₹37,990 (also down by ₹4,000), and the flagship-spec 12GB + 256GB with 5G connectivity receiving a price cut of ₹2,000, now priced at ₹44,990.
With the said price cut, the iQOO 3 is now the most affordable smartphone to draw its power from the Snapdragon 865 processor in the Indian market. Moreover, the iQOO 3 is equipped with a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with HDR 10 support. It has a 180Hz Super Touch Response rate, which should not be confused with the high refresh rate found in most modern flagship smartphones.
It has a quad-camera setup on the back (48MP main camera, 13MP Telephoto with 20X Zoom, 13MP super wide-angle camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera), and a 16MP front shooter. It is backed by a 4,440mAh battery and charges through a USB-C port via 55W Super FlashCharge Technology.
The iQOO is a smartphone mainly targeted towards gamers. We recently concluded our review of the iQOO 3 5G, which you can check out right here.
