Vivo's sub-brand iQOO has announced the iQOO Z1 in China. The iQOO Z1 has a 144Hz 6.57-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. The measurements of the device are 163.97mm x 75.53mm x 8.93mm and it weighs 194.78 grams. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. The handset is backed up by a 4500mAh non-removable battery. The company claims that the iQOO Z1 can be charged from zero to fifty percent in just 23 minutes.
As far as the camera is concerned, the device holds a 48 MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, an 8 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and lastly a 2 MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the rear. The front of the handset holds a 16 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies. The device houses a portrait mode, LED flash, 4K video recording, and several other features.
The dual-sim iQOO Z1 accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It is available in two different colours - Space Blue and Galaxy Silver. However, a special variant is available called the One Piece, which has a One-Piece skull and logo on the back. The base-spec 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is available for RMB 2,198 (approximately ₹23,410), the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant is available for RMB 2,498 (roughly ₹26,600) and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at RMB 2,798 (roughly ₹ 29,800).
The iQOO Z1 is up for pre-booking via the online Vivo store in China whereas other retailers will begin to take the pre-booking starting 25 May. The smartphone will go on sale in China from 1 June, but the availability of the Z1 in other markets is currently unknown.
