Lava has launched it entry-level Z71 smartphone with a dedicated Google Assistant button, a dual camera setup and waterdrop notch design. Lava Z71 is priced at Rs 6,299 and is available on Flipkart in Ruby Red and Steel Blue colour options. Jio subscribers can avail Rs 1,200 instant cashback on Rs 198 and Rs 299 recharge plans in the form of 24 vouchers of Rs 50 each, and additional 50GB 4G data in the form of one additional data voucher of 5GB per recharge for a maximum of 10 recharges.
‘The data consumption of the budget smartphone users has increased exponentially and they want to upgrade to the latest smartphone with attractive features. LAVA Z71 caters to this requirement with its great collective of features, comprising notch display, dual camera, face unlock, and a fingerprint scanner at a pocket-friendly price,’ Tejinder Singh, Head- Product, LAVA International Limited, said in a statement.
Lava Z71 comes equipped with a 5.7-inch HD+ display that offers 1520 X 720 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor, which is flanked by 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card). The phone runs Android 9.0 Pie, and houses a 3,200mAh battery with regular charging tech.
In the camera department, the phone has dual-rear snapper setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary shooter. There is a pro mode, AR Stickers and an AI studio Mode that allows users to click six-level portraits. On the front is a 5MP camera which is housed in the waterdrop notch. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back and face unlock.
