South Korean giant LG has launched an all new G-series smartphone – the LG G8X ThinQ and an advanced LG Dual Screen in India. The LG G8XThinQ with LG Dual Screen will be available across all retail outlets at Rs 49,999 starting December 21. The smartphone comes in aurora black colour option.
The two screen will help user text a friend while watching a video, share and compare while online shopping, or write an email while referencing a presentation. Consumers can navigate, research, communicate across two screens simply and efficiently. The LG Dual Screen displays notifications, date, time and battery life.
The G8X ThinQ shares the identical 6.4-inch display of LG Dual Screen. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and an ambient light sensor that adjusts the contrast to maximise image details and reduces eye strain.
The LG G8X ThinQ is armed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and is IP68 Water and Dust Proof. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick charge technology. The smartphone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2TB via micro-SD card) and runs on Android 9 Pie.
For photography, the LG G8X ThinQ sports a 32MP front super wide angle 136-degree camera with a 1.6μm sensor. The front camera also has a reflector mode that ensures clear, sharp portraits even in dark environments, and allows users to adjust the lighting colour. At the rear, the LG G8X ThinQ has a 12MP standard (F1.8 / 1.4μm / 78-degree) and a 13MP Super Wide (F2.4 / 1.0μm / 136-degree) lens.
Additionally, the camera comes with AI Action Shot with a shutter speed of 1/480 of a second to keep subjects fully in focus – ideal for shots of kids or pets playing.
