LG Wing 5G with Snapdragon 765G launched in India; LG Velvet tags along

LG Wing 5G, the manufacturer's much-hyped phone with a swiveling screen, has made its debut in the Indian market. Besides that, the maker has also introduced the LG Velvet in the Indian market.

Having introduced it in the international markets last month, LG has finally debuted its Wing 5G smartphone in the Indian market, which is the manufacturer's much-hyped phone with a swiveling screen. Besides that, the maker has also introduced the LG Velvet in the Indian market.

LG Wing 5G

The main talking point about the LG Wing 5G is the display. It features a primary 6.8-inch Full-HD+ P-OLED display with a 2460x1080 resolution. Further, it can be swiveled to reveal a secondary 3.9-inch G-OLED display with a resolution of 1240x1080 pixels.

The LG Wing 5G comes powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of in-built expandable storage. Moreover, the smartphone features a 32MP pop-up selfie camera at the front, along with a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree FOV, and a 13MP ultrawide lens with a 117-degree FOV at the back. Interestingly, the 12MP ultrawide camera doubles up as a gimbal motion camera in swivel mode.

LG Wing 5G 2

The LG Wing runs on Android 10 with LG’s UX on top and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, and NFC. It is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0+ via USB-C. It is priced at ₹69,900 and will go on sale starting November 9. You can grab the LG Wing 5G in two shades, namely aurora gray and illusion sky.

LG Velvet

Unlike the LG Wing, the Velvet misses out on 5G connectivity. It comes with a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ P-OLED display with a 2340 × 1080 pixel resolution. Moreover, it comes powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset, which is further coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage.

LG Velvet 2

The LG Velvet features a Triple-Camera setup at the back, comprising of a primary 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. Besides that, it also gets a 16MP selfie camera housed inside the waterdrop notch at the front.

LG Velvet 1

It, too, runs on Android 10 with LG’s UX on top and, moreover, is backed up by a 4,300mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0 charging via USB-C. Other highlights include support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is priced at ₹36,990 and is available in two colours – aurora silver and black. You can grab the LG Velvet starting from the 30th of October.
