Moto X4 with 6GB RAM launched in India at Rs 24,999

Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility launched a new 6GB variant of Moto X4 today in India at Rs 24,999. The device will be Flipkart exclusive and will also be available on Moto Hub stores in 100 cities in six states across India, starting January 31, 12 p.m. onwards.

The company also announced launch offers, including a flat Rs 1,500 discount on ICICI bank credit cards, an additional Rs 3,000 off on exchange of your old smartphone, up to 490GB free data on a Rs 199 recharge on Vodafone and a no cost EMIs up to 12 months starting from Rs 2,083. The launch offers are only valid on February 1 and February 2.

The Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch full-HD LTPS IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor accompanied by Adreno 508GPU. The storage can be expanded up to 2TB via micro-SD card slot.

The main USP of the device is the dual-camera setup – a 12MP sensor with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and dual pixel auto-focus along with an 8MP camera with a 120-degree wide field of view, aperture f/2.2 and 1.12-micron pixels.

The camera also packs phase-detection auto-focus, dual-tone LED flash and modes such as bokeh effect, selective black and white, background change and 4K video recording. At the front, the Moto X4 sports a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 lens and front LED flash along with a 4-megapixel adaptive low-light mode.
